Tyler Thompson, O.D.
Dr. Thompson, a Georgia native from Loganville, pursued his bachelor’s degree in physics at Georgia State University, graduating with honors. He then earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at SUNY College of Optometry in New York City.
Dr. Thompson worked for 3 years in Brooklyn at an ophthalmology and optometry private practice, seeing a high volume of ocular disease and surgical cases. With comprehensive training in glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, dry eye disease, specialty contact lenses, and post-operative care, Dr. Thompson brings a wealth of expertise to Eye Specialists of Georgia.
Now back in Atlanta, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with his partner, Kyrsten, and their Boston Terrier, Myrtle. In their free time, they love attending concerts and camping.
